Service Transition Delivery Analyst

A globally renowned organisation currently seeking a Service Transition Delivery Analyst, to join a dynamic European team.

You will have full responsibility for the effective and smooth transition of IT services and processes to BAU operation. Working in adherence to the Service Transition policy and methodology, the role works closely with the IS Solution Delivery team to ensure controlled introduction of new services.

Other responsibilities:

Work closely with project managers to ensure early engagement in the projects, to influence the project approach in terms of support possibilities and identify non-functional requirements from the business for Service Delivery and support
Identify key stakeholders required for project acceptance and ensure appropriate governance is established
Conduct impact assessments against the proposed service to establish changes required to processes, tools and resources for the service and support. Create a Service Design and Model to establish how IT will support the new service
Undertake Service readiness activities to include training, 3rd party readiness, Service Rehearsals, Operational Acceptance Criteria and communications to stakeholders to ensure successful cutover to live
Prepare OLA, SLA and initiate vendor contract changes to support the new Service Model as needed
Complete validation of the developed service using an appropriate control framework to ensure acceptance criteria are met and sign off operability acceptance. Adherence to and enforcement of service operability principles to ensure acceptance of service, quality and costs against all new services
Undertake post implementation reviews to ensure continual Service improvement cycle is maintained for the Service Transition area

To apply for this position, we are looking for candidates who have a broad service delivery background and have incorporated service transition. Experience of working within complex projects or programme structures in a large matrix organisation is essential.

It would be advantageous to be ITIL and Prince 2 certified.

Other must have experience include:
- Experience of constructing and reviewing project plans and resource utilisation against plan activities
- Thorough understanding of the principles of Service Management
- Experience in managing deliverables using third party vendors
- Extensive experience in large scale complex IT Service Delivery and support environments
- Extensive experience of senior stakeholder management and communications within IT Service environments
- Experience of working in a pan European organisation
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to manage and lead teams outside of your direct management responsibility, including the ability to manage resources remotely
Ability to work in a high pressure environment, managing a number of different complex projects in parallel
Demonstrates sound executable decision making in a high pressure and fast moving environment
Ability to seek out relevant data and analyse complex information to determine the important elements of a problem situation then communicate this to key stakeholders

This is a contract position based in the Surrey area with travel across Europe. It is paying around 350-450 per day depending on experience.
